In my work I focus on my personal relationships with people and how they affect me. I want to take these feelings and translate them into a body of work that can be understood universally. I have used thread throughout different bodies of work to symbolize my connection with others or my yearning for a connection with someone.

Sierra Wright is an artist from Indiana. She is currently studying photography and intermedia at the Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI and will be earning her BFA in 2020. She had her series Bloodlines featured in the Herron Look/See Exhibition in 2019. She earned the Mike Mcgovern Memorial Photography scholarship for her strong work ethic and outstanding work in art and design in 2019.
